New CEO Appointment for Dairy Food Safety Victoria

The Chair of Dairy Food Safety Victoria, Dr Anne Astin, has today announced the appointment of Ms Corrie Goodwin as the new CEO of Dairy Food Safety Victoria (DFSV).
Ms Goodwin has extensive experience in both government regulation, agriculture and the Victorian dairy industry, having previously worked for DFSV in an executive General Manager role responsible for regulatory operations, and has most recently held the position of Head of Responsible Dairy for Fonterra Australia.
Additionally, Ms Goodwin brings with her more than 20 years of experience driving transformational change and leading broader industry and regulatory reform to meet challenges common to agribusiness and trading environments. She has held a range of non-executive directorships, industry committees and advisory roles including a Directorship of the Australian Dairy Industry Council, Vice President of the Australian Dairy Products Federation and the current acting Chair of the Victorian Game Management Authority.

In announcing the appointment of Ms Goodwin, Dr Astin said “The DFSV Board is delighted to welcome Corrie as DFSV’s next CEO. Her leadership roles in dairy regulation and industry will ensure that performance-driven food safety systems continue to deliver safe food for consumers”.
Dr Astin acknowledged the leadership of outgoing CEO Ms Amanda Hill over the past five years, also thanking Dr Andrew Wilson for his contribution to DFSV as acting CEO since April 2023 and Agriculture Victoria for supporting this arrangement.
Ms Goodwin will commence her role in January 2024.
